Twitter: I hate it.

Posted on Jan 27, 2011 in Marketing Musings

Seriously, seriously hate it.  How am I possibly supposed to keep my creativity limited to 160 characters?  I’ve been slacking off because let’s face it: many of my clients are still getting used to the idea of websites.  Explaining tweets simply doesn’t translate to my CPA father, who’s never even had to advertise to get tons of clients. (I suspect we have family ties to the mob.  or the trucking industry.  same thing?)

Unfortunately, since Ad Astra recommends it to some clients, I’m following my own advice. If you need to know why I recommend it to clients, read a great article about it here.

And seriously, I really, really hate tweeting.  I don’t know if it’s because I’m not used to the platform yet, or if I’m not creative enough to think of fun things to say, or because I grudgingly harbor resentment towards people like Kim Kardashian, who has SO MANY FOLLOWERS OH MY GOD although she really is super attractive, and maybe I’ll follow her too?

Anyway, if you’re on Twitter, twat me!  (that can’t be the right phrase…)
